THANKSGIVING BANQUET SERVES THOUSANDS
On Thanksgiving Day, The Caring Place @ Miami Rescue Mission (MRM) and Broward Outreach Centers (BOC) serve nearly 3,000 traditional Thanksgiving dinners with all the fixings during the Great Thanksgiving Banquet in Miami and Broward County. Attendees can enjoy music, healthcare services, haircuts, and special activities for children. More than 300 volunteers serve a delicious Thanksgiving meal, featuring turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and a variety of other treats.
We extend a special thanks for your support and for involving others in making the Great Thanksgiving Banquet a success.

The Great Thanksgiving Banquet is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and remind those experiencing homelessness and hardship that they are not forgotten this holiday season.
“I love this street outreach. Everybody is so happy to be here, including myself. I wouldn’t have had a Thanksgiving meal without this outreach,”
Jimmy, a guest from Hollywood.
“All of this is done to share the love of God and the compassion of our community with our neighbors. Men, women, and children who are struggling need encouragement and a helping hand. The Thanksgiving meal was fantastic, but more importantly, everyone left the banquet with a renewed sense of hope for a brighter future,”
Antonio Villasuso, President
“This is a day when those who have a little more can give back and help someone in need reset their lives and build a better future,”
